Nikoleta Xenariou was born in Thessaloniki where she started dancing at the Dance School of Roula Kafantari and continued at the Dance School of the Municipality of Kalamaria. She is a graduate of the KSOT and as a scholar of the "Koula Pratsika" foundation she continued her studies at the Rotterdam Academy of Dance (Bachelor of Dance).
As a dancer and performer she has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Konstantinos Rigos (NTNG Dance Theater), Sofia Mavragani (Fingersix / athens), Amalia Bennet, Yannis Iordanidis (NTNG), Aristotle Chios (Vasistas), Eleni Georgopoulou POLIS), Maria Gorgia (Amalgama). She was a movement director in a number of theatrical performances. She co-produces improvisational performances and stage experiments with musicians and other artists. She teaches contemporary dance and improvisation in seminars since 2004 and since 2007 she teaches movement and improvisation at the School of Theater "Dilos". She is a founding member of "FINGERSIX / Athena - a company for the research and dissemination of performing arts" and a member of the organizing team of "Tsak Bam Festival - a spontaneous contemporary art festival".
